Memphis Stone & Gravel, a leader in the aggregate, mining, and construction industry, is pleased to announce the appointment of James Sudduth to Assistant Superintendent of Wash Plants.

“James is no stranger to the mining and dirt world, which equips him with a wealth of knowledge in this field,” said Eddie Ragsdale, Superintendent of Wash Plants. “We are looking forward to witnessing the benefits his expertise will bring to our wash plant processes, our customers, and our team as a whole.”
In this role, Sudduth will spend his first few months learning about the company functions and unique culture. After that, he will come alongside other leaders Henry Reed and Dennis Harrod in assisting Ragsdale with managing all that’s involved in Memphis Stone & Gravel’s current operations. In addition, Sudduth will play a key role in developing and constructing a new mine site and wash plant located in Love, Mississippi.
“James comes to us with decades of experience in mining, wash plants, and crushing,” said
John Paul Finerson, VP of Production. “That started as a youth in the family mining business in the Tupelo area, and most recently, with COLAS in New York state. We are looking forward to having James as a part of our team.”
