Memphis Stone & Gravel and sister company Lehman-Roberts, a leader in the highway paving, construction, asphalt and aggregate industry, are thrilled to announce the appointments of Andrew Haste as IT Support Specialist and Tom Peterson as Data Specialist.
As IT Support Specialist, Andrew will serve as the front line for all IT support and requests. He will report to David Middleton, Director of IT. Before joining the team, Andrew previously served as an Advance Repair Agent with Geek Squad and a Customer Service Supervisor for Best Buy.
He shared, “I feel like I lucked out finding this company. The thing that has impressed me the most is the sense of community.” In his free time, Andrew enjoys live music, gaming, hiking, and more.
In his role as Data Specialist, Peterson will be responsible for collecting and analyzing construction equipment data in support of the company fleet operation and maintenance programs. He will report to Matt Cox, Director of Asset Management. Holding a Master’s in Special Education from Middle Tennessee State University, Peterson has served for more than two decades in the home healthcare and petrol-chemical fields.
He remarked, “I love working with a company that celebrates the deep history and roots of Memphis.” When he’s not exploring Memphis with his family, Tom also enjoys hiking and spending time outdoors.
